Jesse Faber (1986) began to play the
violin when he was four years old. Later he also played the viola but when he was 12 he switched to the clarinet.
He is a pupil of Marcel Blom but has also attended lessons with other clarinet teachers such as Lars Wouters van den Oudenweijer, Bas de Jong,
Erik van Deuren and Walter Boeykens.
He has appeared as a soloist with the string orchestra Camerata and has played several concerts with pianist Martijn Willers, some of which were for radio and television.
In 2004 Jesse won first prize at the regional Princess Christina Concours in Zaandam and second prize at the National Finals of the Princess Christina Concours in the Hague. He also won the special Audience Prize twice.
Jesse is a senior in high school and for relaxation plays field hockey.
